International Student Camps
We offer 5 themed camps to help international students foster a deeper understanding of the world's different cultures, careers, and communities. The Amplify International staff has over 20 years of collective experience organizing these camps in America, Cambodia, China, and Vietnam. Our camps have served over 1000 students and equipped them with tools to thrive in their educational and professional pursuits.
American Camp
The American camp offers various educational experiences and touring opportunities for international students. The students visit classrooms where they will attend school, participate in networking events, enjoy social outings, and build relationships with American students around their age. High school students can meet with college admissions counselors to understand the application process and prepare their documents and transcripts. Students may also tour Washington D.C., our nation’s capital, and other pivotal landmarks in the United States.
Educational Camps
We offer summer and winter educational camps for students in America, Cambodia, China, and Vietnam. Students either travel from Western Asia to America or participate in one of the camps we host in Asia. The topics range from language arts and classroom etiquette to group activities and social events.
Cross-Cultural Camp
Cross-cultural camps focus on teaching different languages, histories, traditions, and education styles in various countries. Students participate in cultural exchange classes, crafts, cooking, music, dance, museum tours, outdoor activities, community service projects, and more. The camps end with the students presenting what they learned during their experience.
“Shark Tank” Business Camp
This Shark Tank-style business camp teaches business fundamentals to international students pursuing a career in business or entrepreneurship. Students learn how to create a resume, practice mock job interviews, experience simulated business problems, and learn problem-solving techniques required for leadership positions. The camp culminates with Shark Tank-style presentations where students present real-world problems, propose solutions, and defend their business plans before judges.
Leadership Camp
Leadership Camp improves student leadership skills by letting them have hands-on leading experience, building teams, solving problems, vision casting, communication skills.
Students improve their leadership skills through hands-on experience building teams, solving problems, casting vision, and communicating with their team to lead change initiatives. This camp is ideal for students aspiring to be leaders in their communities and careers locally and globally.
